Dwayne Peel Says Rhys Priestland Leaving would be a Huge Blow

Former Wales and British and Irish Lions scrum-half Dwayne Peel says a huge vacuum will be created if Wales fly half Rhys Priestland goes. An announcement is expected from Priestland this week that he will join English side Bath after the 2015 World Cup. Peel said that there would be reasons for what he is doing but he is sure Scarlet will be disappointed with this. He added that Priestland showed in his Saturday night’s game for Scarlet’s against the Ospreys how much he is influential.

Peel explained that it would be big loss for them to lose someone who has been with them since his childhood. Priestland’s contract expires at the end of season and he has negotiated with Scarlets about a new agreement. But Peel says if Priestland joins Bath, he will join a big club. Dwayne Peel further said that Bath’s both on-field and off-field offers gratify him and I am sure he is excited about the move because they have a lot of money, a lot of investment and amazing training facilities.
